Firstly, I’d like to thank everyone for all of their congratulations and good wishes since my election as chairman of the IAB’s Affiliate Marketing Council was announced last week. It’s certainly an exciting time to be involved in hopefully helping to shape the future of the affiliate market in the UK and I’m really looking forward to the challenge.
The council is there to serve the interests of all members of the industry but at present we don’t get a lot of input from affiliates and merchants. Since my appointment I’ve spoken to a lot of people who said they would like to attend but don’t find time. Well here is your chance to get the dates in the diary nice and early.
Next three meetings are:
- 26th February 3pm
- 26th March 3pm
- 20th April 3pm
Meetings are held at the IAB’s office : 14 Macklin Street, London, WC2B 5NF.
We’ll publish the agenda in advance so that if there is something you feel strongly about one particular month you can make an effort to attend. Alternatively, if anyone wants to email any points to me in advance I will be more than happy to raise them in the meeting.
